This beautifully soft scarf is woven in carefully chosen blue and purple yarns, both royal colours in medieval times. The weave is a bespoke lozenge weave, reflecting designs from the folios of The Book of Kells.

The bespoke embroidered label of the peacock entwined with a lion pays particular homage to folio 203v.
